Mad Scientists Online Winter 2021

Weekly STEM fun and learning on Google Classroom! Join us for experiments about electricity, ice, animals, and much more. Be sure to submit your photos or comments each week to earn a completion certificate! Email children@aurorapl.ca with the names and ages of your children to register. Free supply kits available to the first 20 participants.

Ages 5 and up with adult help.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own super hero? Sam is going to take you through the steps on how to write your own super hero character, from creating backstories to crafting villains. In this four week video series, we are going to learn how to make our own heroes that we can be proud of.

Are you ready for a challenge? We're posting three new activities every day during Spring Break: a DIY Challenge, a Reading Challenge, and a Community Challenge. Prizes are available for those who do at least one every day, and super prizes for anyone who does them all! Kids ages 2-13 and their families can join us on Beanstack and Google Classrooms starting April 12 at 9:00 a.m., and continuing three times a day (9:00 am, 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm) for the following six days! The Challenge will be open until April 25 so you have time to finish as much as you want!
